Opportunity for the Locals

My friend, Diana, has an amazing dance ministry.  Through her willingness to serve and use her gift, you can have the blessing of seeing God glorified through the beauty of dance at an event taking place next month called Ashes to Beauty.  For more information, go hereIf you are not local, would you please join our church in praying for this event? We pray that the beauty of the gospel would go forth through the beauty of worshiping our Savior through dance.

Diana, if you are reading, feel free to ask for specific prayer requests in our comment box. I know my faithful friends would love to support this ministry through their prayers.

  1. Maybe Hannah and I can go. We’ll be there by then 🙂 Thanks for letting us know.

  2. Wow, it was so cool to see that post. That ministry was such a big part of my life back in the day. Though I haven’t been to (or apart of) a performance in over 6 years, I still feel a connection.
I’ll be praying for the safety of the dancers and teachers as they rehearse and prepare for June. For the the administrative end, that everything would come together. And most of all that God would be glorified and the Gospel would reach the lost.

  3. Hello, I am so blown away that you would post this for us. Things are coming along very well. I see God’s hand moving and ordering our steps. The Lord has given us a Scripture that we are praying over the show – it goes with our theme.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has annointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of BEAUTY INSTEAD OF ASHES the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. The will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting for the Lord for the display of His splendor.”

Many unbelievers as well as others from all kinds of denominations come to our celebrations. We would love to have you join with us in prayer. We know that we need the Lord to show up in every detail, or at best it might be a nice dance show.

    Blessings to All!

  4. What an underused, underappreciated tool of worship! I am praying the fine arts would be part of a great revival here. Blessings to you for awakening the need again to pray for this to happen.
