I saw Emily in her in the first pic! She’s grown into a beautiful young lady! Makes me feel a bit old, though!

The red velvet cake went over well. I think it’s one of those cakes you don’t get too often and has sentimental value.
Libby, i see what you mean about her looking like Em. We think it’s cute that she has Jason/emily’s features on my mom/sister’s shape face.
Abby, I really wish we could have been at your house for the shindig yesterday. I am sure all went well. I love hearing about how you and Jimmy use your house for hospitality. We missed family, but enjoyed new friends!

We enjoyed eating some of Maggie’s b-day cake. Yum! What fun to share her day. I’m just glad she and the other kids didn’t end up in the ER with burns from the wild amateur fireworks show.
Love,
Kathy

Great cake! The writing & stars look fun. So glad you had a memorable time celebrating. I think it’s kind of the LORD to give her a special birthdate being the youngest of the clan and the only girl in that firecracker bunch of yours! Abbey and Brooke tell me often how much my Hope reminds them of your cutie Maggie. It must be the rank in the family.
Hope has lately been singing a song she may have learned at your house, ” . . .we are the dinosaurs marching, marching . . .What do you think of that . . .” Does that song ring a bell?
see ya soon ~Karla

My oldest turns 7 on August 7. She can’t wait! I love the star cake. My daughter, Campbell, want a Yin & Yang cake. She loves all things Chinese at the moment.
